Card Expiration

When your card expires, you will need to apply for a new one.

Common Reasons for Transaction Failure

  • Insufficient card balance to cover the transaction amount (e.g., taxes added at checkout cause the final amount to exceed the balance).
  • Your account (e.g., an OpenAI account) is flagged as high-risk by the merchant platform. It is recommended to try with a new account.
  • The current network environment may be flagged as a high-risk region. It is recommended to change your IP address and retry.
  • The current browser environment may be flagged as high-risk. It is recommended to use your browser's incognito mode to log in and make the payment.
  • If a payment fails, do not repeatedly retry in the same environment, as this could trigger the card issuer's risk control model, for which you will be responsible.

Risk Warning

  • When using your TabiPay card, be mindful of your account balance and avoid repeatedly attempting a transaction after it has failed. In certain cases, doing so may cause Visa/Mastercard to cancel or delete your card based on risk control measures.
  • Pay special attention to the following issues:
    • Multiple failed transactions due to insufficient balance.
    • Multiple zero-fee authorization transactions in a short period.
    • Frequent refunds.
  • If your TabiPay card is canceled or deleted for the above reasons, the security of the asset balance in your TabiPay account will not be affected. Your funds will remain intact. You can also reapply for a TabiPay card later.

Card Cancellation Rules for Risk Control

  • Three consecutive failed transactions due to insufficient balance.
  • Binding the card to Uber.
  • Purchasing virtual currencies (cryptocurrencies).
  • Usage in gas station scenarios.
  • An overall transaction failure rate exceeding 20%.
